"Akila" -- We are rehoming our Beautiful Husky Male named "AKILA". (3 years old)

He is possibly the sweetest dog, who loves cuddles, play fetch and go for walks. Very Social! He has a very mild, yielding personality- especially for the breed.

We are rehoming him because we have had some changes in our family dynamic, and he deserves more love and attention than what he is currently getting. Good with children. He would do well being in a home with another doggy friend. Our hope is that he has a friend to play with.

Akila is house trained, and sleeps on his bed at night. Will come with a bed, large crate, toys, and supply of preferred food. All shots up to date.

We call him our "Waterdog" because he Loves playing in Water and the Beach!!

Here’s her story:
My husband and I adopted her in 2020 while living in Phoenix, Arizona from a family who hoarded animals. They had more than 10 cats and 7 other dogs. She was having conflict with the “lead” dog as she has dominance issues, so they looked to rehome her. She had never seen grass and was rarely exercised. We adopted her when she was about 2 (they think she was in a breeding program and was born around 2018). With my husband, me, and our cats, we gave her a new life. We trained her, took her on hikes and walks every day and took her on road trips to California and to many beaches. We’ve moved out to California now. I had our first child in 2021, and she was great. Now that our child is two and a half and running around, her dominance issues have come out again. She is pinning him, growling and snapping at him, and having a lot of issues. We are worried this will escalate and are currently keeping her separated completely. This is very sad for her as she wants to be around her family.

She needs an active home with an experienced dog owner. She is so wonderful and deserves everything. We are so sad we can’t keep her any longer but can’t risk our small children. She is a funny husky who loves warmth and sleeping in comfort.

"Atlas" -- Atlas is a sweet, energetic boy who loves constant attention and exercise. I adopted him almost 5 years ago, but unfortunately I am unable to keep up his care anymore. I am currently working a full time job, with college on the side as well. I used to have the help of my sister to care for him, but she recently moved out, and I no longer have the time to care for him as I once did. I also live with my grandparents who are unable to help me care for him while I am away at work or school. He’s your typical husky, and likes to plan his escape every once in a while, so a secure fence is much needed with him. Atlas prefers being by himself, without any other dogs to steal away the attention; especially smaller dogs. We found out when I took this beauty to the vet and they scanned her for a microchip, The owner informed us couldn't take her back due to his financial and living situation. To anyone who is going to see this, you'll laugh for the rest of your life. Oso is a Male, Wholly Husky. My family got him when he was a puppy and he's been with us ever since. Oso started off as my sister's dog, and than was given over to me, and our love blossomed from there. He's been with me for about nine years. He's such a sweet dog, one time I fell over and couldn't get up for a while and Oso sat by my side the entire time. Together we've been through walks, fireworks, dog attacks, and gardening, Oso loves the smell of fresh tilled soil. To properly describe Oso I'd say, intelligent, confident, outgoing, and mischievous. In short Oso cares, he'll always check-up on you, and when on walks or in the dog parks, he has a lot of energy mingling with other dogs his size. And if you let him, he'll sneak licks off you'll cup of root beer. This friendly boy can join a home with kids and adults alike, and if you have a treat in you'll hand he'll respond to the terms "treat", "sit", and "kennel time". Oso has a strong prey drive, which means he has too much energy for smaller dogs. As for his favorite activities Oso enjoys walks, trips to the dog park and the occasional trip to the spa.
