These are dogs that have been listed as available in shelters in California, Nevada, Oregon, or Arizona. This list may not be kept up-to-date by the shelter, and the dog listed might no longer be available.

In some cases, there are contacts that are not shelter workers, but individuals who keep track of shelter dogs. Either contact the shelter or the contact listed for the dog.

Koda is Available Do you have a place for me? "Koda" -- Koda is 7 years young and ready for a forever family. Koda still acts like a young dog, has so much life in her and is the happiest girl. She'll give you a dainty awooooooo and steal your heart. She is sweet, gentle, and well-mannered. Koda is also the perfect size, at about 45 lbs. Come in and meet her!

Koda went to an adoption event and was surrounded by dogs of all sizes off leash and on, kids, and adults. She was very well behaved, confident, and friendly. Koda is an all around great dog! Koda is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines.

Located At: Hayward Animal Services Bureau
Description: My name is Niner.
I am a neutered male, black and gray Alaskan Malamute and Keeshond.
Age: The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 2 months old.
More Info: I have been at the shelter since Feb 27, 2024.

Niner is a young pile of fluff that is looking for an adventurous family. Niner is playful with people, and loves to play with toys. Niner is uncomfortable with some handling but will easily bond and will have no issues later on. Niner did not show any signs of guarding for food or highvalue during his assessment. Niner would do best in a home with older kids and up.
