RockyRocky is an Available Alaskan Malamute This entry has expired and the information may no longer be current This is Rocky He is a neutered Male, 12 years old, Housetrained, Lead Trained, has Rabies vaccinations, has Papers. Can you believe that I was kept chained up in a backyard, beat, and neglected for the first 5/6 years of my life? I was never socialized or shown love, but I am so happy to have this second chance at life. Because of my previous life, I have my quirks--I am nervous about strangers trying to touch me and have some handling issues, but with time, patience, and dedication I have learned to really trust some people. I need an adopter who is experienced, calm, confident, and most of all loving and patient with me. I'm getting better everyday, and am truly an amazing boy. Besides some of my trust issues due to my traumatizing past, I'm an extremely good listener and know many commands--I'm really freakin smart (and would be great with agility training!). I'm amazing on leash and am truly a gentleman in so many ways. I am just so happy to be close to people who love me, feed me yummy treats, and to have a comfy place to sleep by my people. Please feel free to message me (my foster mom, Anna) with any questions and I'd be happy to chat with you about this special Rock dog. You can also read more about me on Family Dog Rescue's page, and you can find the link in my bio. Rocky would do best in a home without other dogs, cats, or small children. Please help me find that special furever home! Thank you for taking the time to read this long post, we really appreciate it, and please share with your dog-savvy friends.
