This is Lady
She is a spayed Female, 9 years old, Housetrained, has Obedience training, good with Large Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations.Lady is a 3-year old husky/american eskimo mix. She's sweet, smart, and playful, but shy and anxious. She has had a lot of training, is very well potty trained, and knows her basics very well—sit, down, wait, come. Her recall is good. She loves running and hiking, and open environments like beaches and forests, but the city makes her anxious. She loves to play chase at the dog park... once she's had a few minutes to get over her shyness and warm up to the other dogs.
She can be reactive (barking) with strangers, especially in stressful contexts such as busy city sidewalks, but she is not aggressive or dangerous. She is very affectionate with people once she knows them, and is much more open and friendly in comfortable contexts like parks. She has been making steady progress on her reactivity with training. She is good with other dogs, but sometimes fearful of bully breeds due to a past attack.
I am no longer able to care for Lady. She is a good dog who needs a loving home. She would do well in a quieter environment where she would be able to come out of her shell. She is very healthy—just had her 3-year checkup—and is completely up to date on all her shots.
