She is a spayed Female, 11 years old, Housetrained, Crate Trained, Lead Trained, has Obedience training, good with Large Dogs, has Rabies vaccinations, has DHLPP vaccinations, microchipped.Nala is a gorgeous 5 year old mix. Some of her personality characteristics are in line with a White Swiss Shepherd. She is loyal and loving to her family, but cautious of strangers and can be defensive.She needs time to warm up. She can have a “back off” attitude and will bark and try to nip at strangers until she feels comfortable with them. We are working with Nala to help her be more accepting of new people and situations. When she feels comfortable with someone she is their best buddy and enjoys being pet and cuddling with them. She also enjoys walks and playing. She rides well in the car and is crate trained. She also knows sit, down, paw, and stay and is willing to learn more. Positive reinforcement and gentle training should go a long way in making Nala feel more secure in her surroundings. Her new family should not have young children, but a medium to large dog that she gets along would be alright.
